Well I guess even an emotion like grief has to burn out at some point. A new resident has joined us at the Cove. Riley a Lab and something mix, has torn into our lives and started shredding stuff. She's supposed to be around 2 years, but the poor thing was never allowed to be a puppy. She was found by Chance Rescues, in the back of the pound, her eyes so crusted over she couldn't see. She has a condition that she doesn't produce enough tears, but we have her on a treatment that seems to be helping, and we have a back plan of surgery if the cream doesn't do what it's supposed to do. She a real handful and she seems to be helping the boss with her lingering signs of grief.

To all of you who have tagged my work as favorites, I am getting around to thank you, I don't want to be thought of as rude, but life definitely threw me a couple of corkscrews over the last year. I have a number of WIP's I want to post as well, hopefully i will be able to finish them soon. I've learned a lot in the last year, and I hope the learning curve was worth it, you folks will be the judge.
